Wow, what an extremely loud and obnoxious hat! Who would ever wear something like that?! Well, this is my "Adventure Hat" and I displayed it proudly this summer during our weekend adventures! I couldn't leave the apartment if I didn't have my "Adventure Hat" in hand or on my head! Just as Iron Man has his suit and Thor his hammer, my "Adventure Hat" became my VEHICLE for adventurous power! Did I really just compare my "Adventure Hat" to Iron Man and Thor?!
Yes, that just happened! Having an excuse to act with reckless abandoned-fun is a powerful feeling. If you're anything like me, sometimes you need an excuse to step outside your comfort zone and be a risk-taker. Doing something you're not 100% confident in can be very unappealing. That's why I couldn't be without my "Adventure Hat"! Whether it was a 12 mile climb up St. Helens, whitewater rafting on the Deschutes, or hiking through multiple State Forests, I was GAME because I had my "Adventure Hat" and it gave me the POWER! : )
